Images

Description

These components are used to upload images.

There are 5 types of image components:

  • Image : the principal component with all options
  • Free image: used to upload an image as it is (no size modification)
  • Standard image: to upload an image that will be resized automatically in function of the space defined in the template.
  • Decorative image: to upload an image from a database.
  • Banner: to upload a long image

Procedure

  1. Insert component.
  2. Upload an image in "Add a new image".
  3. Click on "Save" to activate the uploading proccess.
  4. You may choose the position of the image : Align left / Centered / Align right

Interface

It is possible to allot a "label" to the image files: kind of image description which is used by the text reader sofwares for the Blind.
you can also create a link on the image with "link" field.

Image type

  • hidden : image is not displayed in the current page but used in reference to this page (slide show, internal link...)
  • standard : standard with grey background and label under the picture.
  • no-title: no greay background and no title under the picture
  • free : free image, resize only if bigger than the website.

Remarks

It is possible to gather files in groups for an well-organized files structure.
