'Menu edition' box

This dialog box is used to modify the menu structure.

"Delete page" button :

This button is used to delete the page which was selected in the menu. The program requires a confirmation before deleting the page.
CAUTION: this operation deletes all "child pages" in the navigation tree as well as the content of each page.

(New page)"Add first" :

This button is used to create a new page. This page is inserted as 'child" of the current page and located on top.

(New page)"Add last" :

Used to create a new page located after the other pages.

"Virtual parents":

"Virtual parent" is used to copy a page (called child page or subpage) in another place of the website under a virtual parent page.

The difference with 'copy page" is that this virtual copy is a sort of shortcut.
When the original page is modified, the changes DO ALSO APPEAR in the copy.
IF the virtual parent page is deleted, the vitural child page is also deleted.

  • select the page in the menu
  • click on virtual parent
  • you find yourself in the website structure
  • select the virtual parent page (page under wich the subpage will be hosted)

"Parent page":

used to move a page in the website structure.

  • In the menu, select the 'parent page' that will contain the new 'child page' (If, for example, you want to add a "news1", select the page called "News" which contains all "news").
  • In the "Add" field ("Menu editor" box), introduce the new page name. This name can only contain numbers, letters and the "_" character.(Ex: news_2)
  • Click on the "Ok" button: The new page is created, it appears in the menu under the current page.
  • Select it and give it a title. To attribute a title, just click on "Title" in the "List of component types" box, then insert it on top of the page. Write down your title.
